what is the card society?
homeThe Card Society, proud to be the very first letterpress card club, was established in June of 2006.
In this unique card-of-the-month club members receive two individually designed, letterpress-printed cards in their postbox each month. Cards are one-of-a-kind, never to be re-printed or sold anywhere else.
PLEASE NOTE:
The year-long membership option is no longer available. After long thought I have decided to bring The Card Society to a close on its fifth birthday (June 30, 2011). All memberships will be fulfilled through 2012 (or whenever they are scheduled to end) but new memberships will no longer be taken after June 30, 2011. The Details
• One, three and six-month memberships are available.
• Along with their first shipment, each multi-month member receives a unique member number/card.
• Members receive two different cards (with blank interiors) each month.
• All cards are hand-made on a tabletop letterpress in Portland, Maine.
• Shipments arrive in the 3rd or 4th week of each month.
• All packages ship out in heavy recycled flat envelopes via USPS.
• Gift orders include a hand-written note along with cloth bag and grosgrain ribbon packaging.
• Members receive little treats in their shipments quarterly and will also be privy to special overs sales which take place once each year.
