For the November cards I picked up many, many leaves and natural bits throughout the first week of the month and pressed them into some old books. These 3 (2 leaves and 1 branch) were the ones stood out to me the most as needing a second life. What's a second life? Well, they live their first lives on trees and out in the natural world and then I scan them in, play with them a bit and turn them into Card Society designs. I'd say that's a pretty good second life! ... and I hope the members agree.
