inspiration: may 2009

Inspiring me these days and nights:

Patterns in nature...
Jackson, Johnston & Roe...
My new notebook...
Neutrals mixed with white...
Hot pink...
Watercolors...
Porcelain birds...
Karin Eriksson ceramics (even broken)...

When I look at these inspirations I can almost see Autumn in them. Odd since we are about to move into the hum of Summer. But then again sometimes it takes a while for me to really feel sights and sounds that are around me. Sometimes they need to sit with me until I can make them a part of my world in one way or another. Perhaps I am just starting to do that with all that was on my mind this past Autumn... I guess that means I'll be feeling Summer this Winter... that's not so bad! —MAV
