What a funny month it has been. I spent the beginning part at the beach every evening swimming and watching the fog or sunset. I spent the middle section a bit under the weather. And this last part has been all about work. When I made this small seaweed ocean-in-a-glass on August 4th I figured I would fill it up with new treasures each week but instead it was the only seaweed I saw this month. I became obsessed with caring for it and eventually pressing the weeds into a big book where someday they will emerge to a new life perhaps hanging on my wall. The sea reminds me, somehow, that life is full of vibrant tides and ups and downs. I wanted to share my love with members this month in both the cards and a little special treat (which you can spy a bit of in the upper left corner). Let's all be inspired by the wonders of the sea, shall we?
